Deck the Halls with overwhelm, FA-LALALALA-LALALA..  

Seriously, the HOLIDAYS have arrived! But if you’re like me, you may find yourself floundering in the never-ending Holiday Life/ Business To-Do List. Navigating your time during the holidays can be tricky–especially if you’re an overwhelmed ‘prenuer.

So here are my Top 3 tips on How to Manage your Time During the Holiday Season:

  1. Exercise your “NO” boundaries.

    It’s so easy to say “yes” all the time! But this time of the year is perfect to flex your “NO”. Why? As a business owner, you’re already working on your 2018 tax returns, managing a business, and caring for a family. You also may be preparing for a pending vacation, in-law visits and the like, so why add more overwhelm in your life by saying “YES”? Take back your time and only commit to what you’re already taking care of. You’ll thank me later for sure!
  2. Schedule your holiday shopping.

    Do you really have time to run your empire and go holiday shopping? Well if you have a nanny, personal assistant, and a million-dollar empire, then SURE. The reality is we can’t do all the things and sometimes it’s best to schedule in what matters. Schedule time in your daily schedule to do your holiday shopping online! It saves you time from having to go out and hustle and bustle at you keep your sanity.   3. Write a daily to-do list.

    If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love Tech! But as my writing coach Je Tuan Jones says: sometimes, it’s best to put pen to paper and braindump what needs to be done. The holiday is already a busy season and the last thing you need to do is to worry about is syncing all your apps to make sure you’re on track. Make your list and check it twice (and if you’re my client, I’ll check it to see if you’re naughty or nice!)
